Mission Africa Incorporated

Dr. Kodjoe Sumney and Dr. Akosuah Salome Sumney founded Mission Africa, Inc., a 21st-century global humanitarian and mission-work organization. It is a non-profit organization that develops global partners of all colors and nationalities to offer humanitarian assistance to the needy in Africa and the United States of America, with a branch in Ghana.

The vision includes recruiting African Americans to visit Africa for business, touring, or humanitarian work. In fifteen years, the organization has brought over one thousand (1000) people from the United States of America, consisting of people of all backgrounds—African Americans, Caucasians, Mexicans, American Indians, and many other nationalities—to Ghana to assist in various projects.
